At the weekend (17/06), Sophie participated in the Dutch Vecht voor Kinderen Rally (fight for children rally), supporting a number of children charities including a children’s hospice, child cancer organisation that provides children with wigs and various development programmes in Africa.
Those sponsoring and charity activities have a long tradition at Partners4Access, in particular supporting rare disease activities. There are 6,000-7,000 rare diseases and many more are being discovered everyday. Most rare diseases are difficult to diagnose and have no cure. Patients can suffer years of tests for an appropriate diagnosis.
